Hertfordshire Woodcarvers
Welcome to
Hertfordshire Woodcarvers
Join our St Albans-based club
We’re an enthusiastic group of individuals brought together by a passion for woodcarving. Meeting once a month, we work on our projects, share ideas and advice, and socialise. We welcome new members of all levels - don't worry if you've never done any woodworking, we're there to help you along the way.
Next get-together: Sunday 11th October 2026
The club was founded decades ago, when a shared interest was turned into an official hobby club. In the past few years we've seen a steady flow of new members, many of whom have limited or no carving experience, and at recent sessions the majority of attendees were women.
Come and have a look at our next monthly meeting. If you join us, we'll aim to give you the help you need by a group of individuals who are passionate about woodcarving.
Complete novice?
No worries!
We've all been there; this was my first attempt.
We want to pass on whatever we've learnt - the hard way - to help you have an enjoyable time.
